Soil
Mainly limestone on slopes, left bank of the Dordogne Valley.

Grape Variety
Semillon  Sauvignon.

Winemaking Process

Late harvest of overripe grapes. Direct pressing on bladder-press. Fermentation at 17° Celsius. Arrest of fermentation by cooling fermenting must. Ageing in vats on light lies. Fining and filtration before bottling.

Preservation

To be drunk within 3 years.

Tasting

Wine to be served at 8/9°C. To drink as a social drink ; with first courses or  main course like curry, spicy dishes and strong cheeses. Excellent with fruit salads, and pies.

 

Features
Nose mixes white flowers and candies. Well balanced with a lot of freshness and a round and sulky after taste.
